CloudDeakin development sites
The process for setting up unit sites each trimester means that you will have access to the unit site approximately a month prior to the commencement of trimester. However, depending on how you prefer to work, you may want to develop and prepare learning resources much earlier than that. You might also want to test out additional tools prior to including them in your actual unit site.
To allow you the freedom to develop unit resources before trimester, every unit has a “development” site in which you can test and develop resources when it suits you. Then, when the relevant unit site becomes available, you can copy across any content from the development site.
These sites appear by searching in CloudDeakin with the Unit Code followed by “Dev”. If the unit development site does not appear for you, please contact General Requests – Learning Innovation and a team member will be able to set up access for you.
