Learning is inclusive

Learning experiences are meaningful, relevant and accessible to all; and student diversity is embraced as a rich educational resource in itself. This includes:

  • learning resources and activities that anticipate student diversity and minimize adjustment of additional supports required to meet the entitlements of individual students
  • cloud and located learning environments that are simple for all students to use, so that no student is disadvantaged
  • learning resources and activities that reflect the social and cultural diversity of the wider community in ways that legitimate and provide positive representations of varied experiences and perspectives.
  • assessments that allow all students to demonstrate they can achieve the necessary standards, with capacity to adjust tasks to allow learners to demonstrate achievement of a standard or learning outcomes in a different way
