1. Go to your Unit Site.
2. In the Navbar, click on Tools > Panopto to access the Panopto homepage.
3. Select My Folder from the left Menu.

1. After creating your video with an external platform, go to Panopto and located the desired folder.
2. Click on Create, then choose Upload Media.

This action will position the video within the designated Panopto folder.

Once in Panopto, click on Create and choose either Panopto for Windows or Panopto for Mac. You’ll be prompted to either open the app or download it.

If you haven’t installed the application yet:

• For Deakin computers, follow these instructions.
• On a personal computer, select the download button and follow the provided instructions.

If the application is already installed, choose Open to launch the app. In the application window, follow these steps:

1. Ensure the Folder is set to My Folder.
2. Enter a Name for the video (e.g., Welcome Video – ABC123 Trimester x 202x).
3. Under Video, select your webcam.
4. In Audio, ensure the correct microphone is selected and speak. The Audio level gauge should light up when you speak, indicating that the audio is working.
5. If there’s audio playing from the computer, check Capture Computer Audio.
6. If using PowerPoint, ensure it is the only one open on your computer, then select Capture PowerPoint. In the preview window, choose “Start presenting when recording starts.”
7. To share your screen, select Capture Main Screen.
8. Once all settings are configured, click Record.

After recording, close PowerPoint (if open), open the Panopto application, and stop recording. In the popup, verify the Name, provide a video description, and proceed.

1. Go to your Unit Site.
2. On the homepage, click on +Add Announcement.
3. Provide a Heading and Content for the Announcement.
4. In the Content Editor toolbar, click on Insert Stuff.
5. Select Panopto Video.
6. In the Dropdown Search, choose My Folder.
7. Select the video you want to embed.
8. Click Insert.
9. Confirm by selecting Insert again.
